It is a bittersweet that my rose is blooming now. Undoubtably because of warm dry weather. The draught. It is too soon. By May they will all be gone and what will the May Queen wear in her hair?

Wow, what a sunset. And the rose this early. Unreal. It’s really pretty though.

T tell the truth we have roses year round. It took some getting use to not haveing seasons when I first moved to Calif.

Both beautiful photos! Will be interesting to see how we weather this drought. Supposed to snow in the Sierras this weekend!

Snow will help the water supply from the Sierras but not my trees now. We have less then a month before spring when we get all our rain. I am worried.

And with all the dry north wind we get, I had to water my lawn earlier this week. Keep our fingers crossed for rain!

Had to water my fruit trees which I never do this time of year. Everything crossed 😉

And I thought a sunset was too obvious. Thanks Becca. Couldn’t come up with any Nurturing Thursday. Maybe I was living it. 🙂

So pretty. I didn’t consider sunsets either, but it’s so perfect. Thank you for sharing!

So good to hear from you. Yes we are warm. But it is all wrong to have no time to go inward during the dark of the year.
Blessings to you
