Childhood: Ephemeral as a Bird in Hand and Dappled Light

Water Colors

This may have been all the rain we had in month of March. I only noticed the puddle on the pavement because I was attempting to photograph a stand of Monterey Pines that will soon be cut down because of disease.

Hi Carol,
These are both perfect for the challenge, and each one is rich with a story and back story of its own.

Stories yes they are! The story of the pines is quite a drama. You must be glad to have your girl home 🙂

Great photos. I love your puddle photo. And the statue is so cute. It is always about the here and now. If you don’t take that photo now, it is gone forever.
