Ann and the Ferry Dock
Ann and the Ferry Dock

Out on a spit of land at the North end of San Francisco Bay stands the remains of an old Ferry Terminal. I can imagine ladies in lace parasols and gentlemen in top hats promenading up to the dock to take the ferry from Richmond to San Francisco or Marin. That’s Angel Island and SF in the background. Now it’s a windy desolate place, but as we were leaving many fishermen were showing up rods in hand. They seemed to know what they were doing. These Anglers were followed by joggers, walkers and families out to catch the fresh air and sunshine! Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge wanted two different items so can my friend in our other friend orange coat is one thing and the ferry machine count as a second things? I’ll double dip and ask that this be counted in the Cee’s Which way Challenge, too.

  1. Interesting ruin – and I like to the symmetry of the mechanical structure. It was nice of Ann to wear a bright coat!
