Sunset At the Christmas Tree Lot

Where Deciduous Meets The Evergreen

Somewhere I heard a legend that every year at Winter Solstice deciduous and evergreen have a battle.

CEO’s Odd Ball Challenge wants odd unusual photos, the first one is but the rest are just a few images from picking up a Christmas tree at sunset. Hope you open this on-line so you can see the images with WordPress snow.
Hmmm, I’ve never heard that legend, Carol.

I heard it at a performance of the Chritsmas Revels a few years ago.

Great photos – we are so light here – it doesn’t get dark until 9 pm. So a long wait for us for the lights

That’s true never thought about it. One student from N Brazil found it odd that the days got shorter here in winter. The days are nearly all the same length at the equator. Who knew?
