On the first day of Spring day and night are of equal length as the sun crosses the equator. It’s a day of balance and symmetry so I created a symmetrical image of my lilac as it begins to bloom. It is as if she knows what time of year it is and comes out to celebrate the Equinox with us.
Must have a little color even if today is supposed to be monochrome.

Love to hear what you have to say.
You should smell like dirt”
Welcome Srpring and Autumn
Carol
I can smile the perfume all the way across the miles between us. Lovely, and a true reminder of spring’s treasures. Happy Photo Challenge.

Carol, both photos are beautiful, but the second one with the touch of color really “touches” me on this dreary overcast morning.

So glad the color touched you. I had to have color for that very reason. Enough gloom already!

Love the black and white lilac, Carol. The blast of spring by Archimboldo is fantastic, so glad you included that.

I’m fascinated by old Archie. Glad you appreciated the blast of Spring. I have to keep telling myself what time of year it is today
