I like it a lot. The screen is bigger than my 7+ and the overall size of the phone is smaller (because the screen is edge-to-edge). I get good battery life, 2-3 days per charge.

That is a long battery life indeed. So it’s easy to learn to use? I saw there was a lot of flipping up from the bottom.

Yes, there is flipping and swiping and tapping and holding down, but it gets easier. I bought the phone from Apple and received a free 30 minute session with an Apple Specialist that I haven’t used yet.
