His wife sent an email to our group telling us this dear man
“Took off peacefully Friday” .
She included a day by day break down of his last days, surrounded by family at home. The family was picnicking in the yard waving at him through patio windows. I’m so glad my friend could Take off peacefully, when so many are dying alone.

I’m very sorry that your friend Fred had to take off at all. I’m sure you will all miss him, but I’m glad he had family in the yard rather than being alone. That is a lovely image of him. Cherish the memories, and please send my condolences to his wife and family.
