This photo taken through the window in the kitchen door so I don’t disturb her.
Last week we put the chicken wire up there to keep squirrel from gnawing the wood. This week the dove family found it a perfect place to nest.

So true, it is wonderful to witness Mother Earth at work. My knucklehead dog keeps chasing the doves and other birds that land in our backyard! 😆

Ha, I have my doubts about that as a perfect place to nest. Hope it doesn’t inhibit you from going in and out your back door.
