My Favorites . What a great exercise. A photography teacher told us that choosing photo to share is part of the photography process. I agree …
I’ll Always have Paris: I wondered onto the roof of Musee D’Orsay by my self. I hung off a railing to get this photo of a Muse and the whole of Paris. It’s also hard to be on your own and alone in Paris it’s a treasured memory.

Later that night I photographed this Cafe only later to learn it was the one from the Movie Amelie. I love street photography, catching people just being themselves, smoking, eating, waiting. And the neon lights!!

My Elders: Beth and Freddy enjoying a laugh during a writing group lunch. His wife told me to take the picture of the flowers at the same moment they shared a joke. The the clock, the photos on the mantle and light from the West window added to the brilliance of the moment. Both have passed on I’m so glad their families have this memory of these beautiful souls.

Lisal’s Hands. A touching moment At Summer Solstice Sunset A group of us had gathered at our little beach. Liesel 98 at the time came right close up to me and held up her hands framing the sunset and asked me to take this photo. I think she was trying to make a heart neither of us could figure it out. I hope the warmth I felt is conveyed even without the story. Her memorial is this week she passed at 102.

Same Beach New Years Eve. The sun sets behind the Golden Gate Bridge the last week of December here every year. This year I got the addition of the kayak floating in. What a peaceful moment. And oh the sparks on the water make it a favorite.

One more from Albany Beach December 21, 2020 the Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. Lots of folks were out with telescopes and fancy cameras. Me with my iPhone wanted to make a memory too. I used the streetlight to create a silhouette of me and my sweetie beneath the conjoined planets with San Francisco skyline on the Horizon.

2 Garden Favorites I won a red ribbon for the end of Summer zucchini photo. The bright yellow flower caught my eye in the early morning light of September 1 2016. And I felt so lucky to capture the orange butterfly on the blue forget-me not. You can even see the little mobs on the antennae.

My Loves My daughter at at her wedding. The wedding photographer was outside and I’m in the brides room just waiting with Bride and friends My heart was so full Love those smiles!!

I have a lot of dog and animal photos but this one means the most. Our family dog Patches taken on a film camera, the photo then reproduces digitally. Yes the dog is smiling and his eyes are sparkling!
