2 for 1 Jakesprinters suggested From a Distance  Weekly Photo Challenge asked for an Urban Image so I went with Mexico Cities Palace of Fine Arts taken from the coffee shop on the 5th floor of the Sears Building across the street. A great place to people watch. A wedding party is crossing the street at the right and students are sitting on the steps drawing the many classical statues.  It was Monday so we didn’t get to see the Diego Rivera murals inside. You can also get a sense that Mexico City is in an ancient volcano from all the mountains around when it’s not so cloudy

  1. Colline Mexico was owned by the French for quite a long time so they have a lot of incredible architecture. It was a surprise to me too.
