Little Town of Bethlehem Created by a man from India
This Christmas display that stands on a hill overlooking the San Francisco Bay was created 50 years ago, by a non Christian man from India as a thank you for the all the opportunities and respect his community in El Cerrito California offered him. It started as a single Christmas ornament in his gaeden and grew to cover a hillside. Some years there were even live sheep. After his passing the city of ElCerrito has taken it over.
Oh how wonderful it is every year to drive up to the hill to see The Shadi Christmas Display . There are carol’s playing, children running around, folks standing still remembering what Christmas is all about. I wish each and everyone Peace and joy for Christmas!
