I stand amazed every

February. “Oh Yes I planted her there!

I do believer she’s early this year!”

Brave gardians of the front steps

Daffodil must struggle

through the rose bramble

grown up around her.

The Prince had an easier time

reaching Sleeping Beauty. However,

our Golden Maiden arises, as she pleases,

to happely kiss the world awake.

  2. Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers. They just don’t last long enough. Mine are comming up now but won’t bud out for awhile yet. Hope they don’t get frozen back?? Other than the daffodil, I love the purple Iris. If I could have a yard full of both of those I’d love it. Guess I could if I planted more of them. lol
