“The term ‘goat rodeo‘ refers to a chaotic event where many things must go right for the situation to work, a reference to the unusual and challenging aspects of blending classical and bluegrass music. Yo-Yo Ma described a goat rodeo, saying, “If there were forks in the road and each time there was a fork, the right decision was made, then you get to a goat rodeo.”[4]“Wikipedia
I do believe Yo-Yo Ma is the happiest person on the planet. Would learning the Cello make me smile like that? Listening watching him play certainly brings me joy! Are you smiling and dancing?
this is so joy filled isn’t it? I love the cello. Years ago – and probably still today – the University of Montreal held free concerts. Whenever there was a cello and piano concert, i was there in the front row!

I can just see you there in the front row waving your lighter and screaming 😉
Maybe that’s not the proper decorum for cello piano concerts. Great story.

I’d probably stick with the fiddle. lol Don’t know if I could play it now or not?? Guess I need to dig it out one of these days.

The only other instrument I played was the steel guitar. Loved that too. Oh yes, I do remember playing “the sticks” in grade school. Bet you did that too?? lol
