You are invited to join in the dance to welcome the change of season!

Here’s music to swirl your skirt or jump into a pile of leave to. Until I stumbled upon Vivaldi, I wasn’t sure I could find danceable music to get us ready for the Fall Equinox coming September 22 at 4 in the morning. This is a longer piece then I usually give you, perhaps you might put it on and do your house work, rake some leaves or, heaven forbid, work up a sweat dancing! Or, oh yes, comment one Dance around Friday 😉
In yesterday’s post I wrote that the fiddler knows the tune, this one certainly does, and she is beautiful to watch.
Music Notes from YouTube oddly in English and Spanish.

My Autumn Blessing For You
We search for balance as days grow shorter
for a moment all is equal and we take a breath.
The Sun crosses the Equator
there is no turning back,
the darkness and the death of winter draws near.
Until that time, dance in the Autumn sun!
Carol
I’m dancing with you, Carol! As much as any gardener would like to deny it, the autumn solstice marks that passage into the decline of growth and green. Sigh. I’m not quite ready for it at so many levels, yet there it is. Have a joyous solstice and enjoy Vivaldi!

Oddly enough the Fall equinox marks a time greening in California. Rain finally arrived today to start the season of growth it took me a few years to get use to this kind of seasonal change. May you find that which is need to comfort you in these darker days.
The rain is my music as I write.
