The curtain is pulled aside
we enter the world of the doll house
where nothing is as it seems.
Vines grow ’round inside and out
Sleeping Beauty may be waiting
the telephone man may climb the poll
and send out the word “She’s here!”
One Hundred years to the day
the curtain is pulled aside
in time to awaken
the sleeping bride.

I am double dipping today: Jaksprinters Sunday Post challenged us to post a photo of reality. “In a wider definition, reality includes everything that is and has been, whether or not it is observable or comprehensible. A still more broad definition includes everything that has existed, exists, or will exist.” Dose Surreal count?
Margo Rody asked us to write a poem about “This day and That”
It isn’t Sunday and who knows what
and where reality begins and ends?
So I’ll just push the button and send.
Thanks for sharing your great words and photography Carol 🙂

That picture reminds me of the old farm house west of Tonkawa I used to spend some time at. I think you would remember it too.
And earthquakes . . . feel at home and come back to Oklahoma. We have had well over 200 quakes in 2013. Mostly in central Oklahoma. Minor damage around Okema with one of the stronger ones. Even felt some in Yale. Gee!! lol

There were a lot of those old farmhouses around! I remember one around Winfield Kansas. Wow Oklahoma is becoming earthquake central!

You caught me 😉 I do love remodeling fairy tales…and folk tales…
I made myself laugh on the sign off when I realized I could rhyme so good to know it was appreciated, Viv.
