Oh goodness I have been out playing in my garden
I should come in and write a poem.
About how
Rodger’s Red,
Scarlet Runner and Lemon Queen
are having a party in my yard
reaching for the sky
sending out tender tendrils
in a feral and fecund dance
waiting for the bees to arrive.
All I do is dig and poke and water
wondering what comes next.
Costatal Romarnesco
just opened his yellow parasol
Italian squash will take over if I let them.
Today there is room for everyone
even me with no root, or hat
or fancy suggestive name.
Carol Carlisle
Margo Rody put out a call for a poem about growing. She had a picture of a Van Gogh painting of a pot of Chives here’s my Van Gogh-ish Squash blossom

How Does Your Garden Grow Today?
Well, if you are doing all those things in the poem, your hip must be a success. I’m so glad. I love seeing the original photograph, hearing about the flower, then seeing your creation!

A little poetic licens but I am doing well. The Van Gogh prompt was perfect for my new photo app.
Thanks

I love how the picture turned out. That would have been perfect as your offering but we got the added pleasure of your poem, too! So nice.

I took some close-ups of some bloom that were on some of Mary’s flowers. Now, Carol, if I can just figure out how to send them to you on this iphone. I will!!

I gotta learn me how to use photo apps! Maybe this summer.
Until then just words will have to do.
You are rooted by your words! Speedy recovery!

As I told CC the app is Glaze, a little advanced to start with.
Rooted in words good concept. Another poem may emerge from that for both of us. Thank you for Idea and the well wishing.
