Fresh windfall plum in the beat patchFresh and tasty iced tea taken with my friends fresh out of the box new iPhone 5sVery Fresh green bean . I know I posted it already But ain’t it grand?
It’s a scarlet runner and it either seeds itself or just doesn’t die out all the way. It’s California after all. This is the third year for it. Hardy plant for sure.
Maybe we can find a fossil bean 😉
Great photos. 😀

I’m told to let them dry. Last year I ate them in salads when I could catch them smaller.
I keep expecting a giant to appear at the top 🙂

I’m glad you posted the bean a second time because I had a question the first time and didn’t ask it. You say that these beans sowed themselves?

Ah! California, that explains it. I’m north of the border in Ontario. Our beans are strictly annuals in these parts.
I found a 1945 US penny in the pea patch, does that count as fossil? 😉
Thanks for the follow, Carol! Happy gardening.
