All Summer long absorbing sun flowers
Grow strong from seed to seed,
Ripe full moon waits Her turn
behind mist and fog,
Which Summer’s delights
Will you carry with you from light
into the dark?
This is Lens and Pens macro photography challenge but I suspect this is as close to the moon I will get so please indulge me for including the one shot I’m happy to have captured of last nights Super Full Moon before she was engulfed in clouds.
Which Photo do you prefer?

Number 3 fills me up. It has a magic that has no connection to what it is, and that’s what I like. Happy Photo Challenge.

Glad you like the sunflower mandala. This one surprised me. I didn’t do any editing but use the Apple editing for it. You might take a peak at my previous post for the texture challenge for undefinable objects.
Happy Monday.

I couldn’t sleep either. To tell the truth about the moon photo, I cropped the picture to make it look bigger. 😉
Good to hear from you Sylvia, How are your sunflowers this time of year?

So sorry about the slugs. We have snails that eat gardens. The squirrels are trying to eat my sunflowers now but they are entertaining. There is always next year 😀

Carol, I like the third one, too, and the moon. There was a gorgeous full moon last night, a bit orange-y at early on.

Glad to HEAR about the orange moon, we couldn’t SEE it rise because of fog…
Thanks for the vote for three. It really helps to get feed back…I think of Lens and Pens as a master class in Photography don’t you?

Love those close-ups. It’s amazing what a camera can capture – stuff you don’t notice otherwise. It gives you an even greater appreciation of plants.
