All the conventional wisdom says not to take pictures in the middle of the day, but I couldn’t resist the Paper Moon (to the right of the pole) over Fort Mason. Then the jet inscribed an extra line to form an angle to create a Z! Do you see it pin-balling away from  the Moon?

Wow!

Maybe you had to be there.

Maybe I had been in a class all morning

looking at digital constellations inscribing stories on a screen sky

and was just glad to be free enjoying

the narrative of shine and shadows,

water and sky  that I could read.

Maybe memories of Edward Weston’s

geometric vision of suburbia

rose up to ask, what are the connections

we can all agree upon?

Now have your say...
