Ancient Cathedral built on the site of an even older Pyramid, Mexico City.  Jake

Asked us to think of architecture a social Art form.

The spider is an Excellent Architect, but not a very social being.

Is arachnid and architect from the same root word?  Come on Sunday Challenge folks, someone should  know!

  1. Architect derives from the Latin architectus, which derives from the Greek arkhitekton (arkhi-, chief + tekton, builder), i.e., chief builder

Arachnids are a class (Arachnida) a term derived from the Greek word ἀράχνη (aráchnē), meaning “spider”

Completely UN related ~ Great pic of the cathedral though !!! 🙂

    1. Okay a vote for French! Thanks Yes Arachnids are great architects. Then there is all the folk tails and legends where they do fantastic feats, like bring back the sun! I a fan of spider woman 🙂
