Since is “A host of golden daffodils” is already written but there must be something else to be said. Perhaps a good way to avoid cliché is to speak of daffodil might be from personal experience. I seems I have taken to doing my own prompts. Feel free to try you hand at the Daffodil Challenge and write your own poem or story or take your own photo and share with us in the comments.
Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers. They just don’t last long enough. Mine are comming up now but won’t bud out for awhile yet. Hope they don’t get frozen back?? Other than the daffodil, I love the purple Iris. If I could have a yard full of both of those I’d love it. Guess I could if I planted more of them. lol
Beautiful picture though.
I like your sentiments and wonderful photo. I’m looking forward to daffodils in my garden, too. I’ll just have to wait a little longer.

I should plant more too, at different times so they last longer. Always a nice thought, but do I do it??
