Photo of lichen covered tree becomes mysterious when converted to black and white in Phototoaster.

Playing around with Scan Pro I randomly chose one of my turkey photos manipulate and was surprised by the depth of contrast that was created.
Which works better?
I’m drawn into each scene with its mystery and the unknown. Happy Phoneography Monday.

I think the first one works better because of the focus of the white, spectral branch

Hi Carol. I’m very fond of the first one too. It was taken up in the El Cerrito Hills.

That’s the wonder of Black and White. We get a dusting of snow in the hills once a year maybe. Just waiting for the first rain as I write.

Winter fun around here is running around in the rain 😦 We have to drive 3 or 4 hours for snow. Send us snow pictures when you get them.

Yes I do :-)) , usually it´is possible to take snow pictures this time, but this year is beautiful autumm here, warm weather about 10 degrees.,colorfull trees…wirth rain of course too :-)) ….maybe right winter will begin next week. But I don´t like snow in the town so mouch. The snow here isn´t as white as in the mountains..often it becomes a slush :-))

Pictures remind me of Lake Ponca park when I used to take so many B&W picctures out there. Just love them.
