Stand them in front of a car!

Looking through my photos for this Summer to write my own Good By to Summer post card I discovered I had a collection of smiling guys in front of cars.  Is it their fondness for cars or my fondness of guys that created the collection?  Or maybe even my delight in shinny objects that go fast? I don’t even know the fellow in front of the Lamborghini. He and I just stopped in our tracks to ogle this restored 1984  beauty, and take pictures.

My beaming sweetie in front of a really big Buick. He’s sporting his favorite Hardly Strictly Bluegrass tee shirt.

Our Brazilian Student Student Anderson and another friend Ed in front of what appears to be a Rolls Royce Woody.  I know my car guy, dad would have loved to admire this piece of machinery.

Total stranger with I phone. Gee I wonder if I’m in his picture on his blog?

Whether you’re a Man or Woman did I make you smile?  Say Lamborghini!

  1. Well, this one did make me smile! Jim looks good in front of that Buick. I think he needs one, don’t you? I sure would like one! I still love the cars from the 50’s and 60’s. Your dad would have enjoyed them too. I’m still not home but have Mary’s laptop. Hope to go home tomorrow!!! Good blog today Carol.

    1. I am impressed. I got to stand next to one 😀 I am reading” Racing in the Rain” You get to experience race car driving from a dogs point of view exploring a deep meaning of life. A must read if you have driven a Lamborghini!

  2. I love this post. A long time ago I drove a monster Chrysler New Yorker – I remember one fellow watching me (I thought) and then commenting on how well I parallel parked that boat. It was all about the car.

    1. I had and Olds Cutless not as big as a New Yorker, but a substantial vehicle. I could parallel park it just fine. I got comments, too. My daughter is afraid to parallel park a Corolla.
