It’s been a hard week.
Can’t sleep.
Checking the news
more than I should.
Took off my shoes.
Trying to snooze.
Listening to music.
Maybe I’ll dance.
Miz Q suggested a Postcard. I had this accidental photo of my toes and had been wondering what to do with it, so here it is with a words one might write on a postcard that I send out all of you. I included the music to keep my Dance Around Friday alive. The Sweet voice of Eva Cassidy seemed to be what was called for this week.
I can’t dance… but go ahead… fill your boots!

It certainly looks like those toes are moving and that counts in my book, where dancing is definitely a thing of the past, except when done on paper.

Wow Viv! that is a wonderful compliment. I thank you from the bottom of my heart and feet 😉 Really thanks. It is a great prompt this week. I feel like each blog I send out is a little post card to all my blogging friends.

Oh Carol. Dance Around Friday is a favorite resting space for me, and this is probably one of my favorite songs. I have never heard this version before but it is lovely. I used to sing this song every night when I performed for a living and it was always a deep deep pleasure. Patti Cathcart of Tuck and Patti does a beautiful rendition as well (http://www.guavaleaf.com/video/5546/Tuck–Patti–Time-After-Time#sthash.jaAKNlQ1.dpbs) So, it is Saturday, and I am considering a slow contemplative dance to this song, turning and turning to match the world turning, sad and joyful all at once. Thank you for such a lovely inspiration.
